So far, more than 13,700 electric school buses have been awarded, ordered, or delivered across 1,500+ districts. Electric buses already make up 7.5% of new sales, a big leap from just 1% in 2020. Each diesel bus replaced brings an estimated $84,200 in health and climate benefits, from fewer asthma attacks to lower carbon emissions. The possibility is clear: we can protect kids’ lungs, save communities money, and build a cleaner future when we commit to all electric school vehicles.
